$5000 range sounds right with the hood, paint job alone. I know you did a PI cam swap too. Not sure what else you've done. But that's a beautiful car you have.

mustang or not.... im actually just looking for somethin else... either another sporty 2 door rear drive car, or maybe like a 4x4... such as a bronco or something along those lines..

where to start with the bird...
1996 4.6 LX
151K miles, but driven every day. so climbing quick
4R70W with cooler and "j-mod"
4.6+ mods include:
PI cams
70mm throttle body
trickflow plenum
cold air intake with K&N filter
Steeda Underdrive pullies
Catless Exhaust with dynomax race mufflers

INTERIOR:
sony xplod cd player 4x50 watts
kenwood 6x8 2 way speakers
legacy 800w amp
2 12" GS design subs with enclosure
Front seats out of 2000 Mustang Cobra (Black leather/grey suede)
Mark VIII back seat (black leather)
Scotts gauges
97 console

Other work:
Paint job 1 year old, rockers rusting again, scratch in cowl hood, and front bumper need to be repainted
3inch cowl VFN fiberglass hood
hood pins
Tinted windows: back 3 5% driver and passenger 21% (back windshield needs to be re-done
St lowering springs & kyb shocks (could use new fronts)
Chrome Y2K cobra 17x8.5 with 255/45/17 BFG g-force t/a's (90% tread left)
stock wheels with all season tires(40% tread left)

Standard equipment:
3.27 TL axle
power windows and locks
remote keyless entry
SATCC
Luxury lighting group (power antenna, lighted visors)

The bad:
Has some kind of wierd pop noise in front end
check engine light from hell due to no cats and bad heater circuit for o2 sensors
consumes some oil maybe 1/2 quart every 2k miles

Like all things it goes in phases. I was not touching my car for two years and then went to a car show a felt the need to start working and playing with my car again. I won't sell any of my toys just keep adding more. I just have to find room for my toys now.

J-Mod, MMC D/S, 24k gvw Tranny Cooler, Mark VIII TC,13” KVR Frt brakes, FRPP 3.73 rear, PI cams & Intake plus P&P NPI heads with the cooling mod, 1 3/8" Rr swaybar.

I think that might hurt the $5000 that you want...
