Michigan Stoney Creek bbq meet!!!!

I am going to try and plan a meet on September 20th 2008, at Stoney Creek Metro park. i would love to have the meet start at about 1pm. i would just need to have some people volunteer to bring some chips/pop, or maybe even some cookies (97qwickcat) lol....just volunteer something to bring. i am probably going to find a grille to bring unless someone wants to to that? but i can manage the meat part of the deal. i think and hope this will turn out good. we should try to invite other car clubs as well, as this idea has turned out great in past years!!!! hint CVN (www.crownvic.net).

thanks,
Jon

Just checking in to say I'll be there for the meet. Keep us posted on any changes or updates.

1996 T-bird, 4.6 with ported PI heads and VT stage 2 cams, JBA shorty headers, 3000 stall converter, 3.73 gears and just about every bolt on available.
Dyno tune results: 275.9rwhp and 301.4 torque.
Best 1/4 mile time: 13.65 at 99.52 mph.
Now I need more gear, more stall and some drag radials !!

well, to save us all some money the guys over at CVN suggested to me meet up at stoney creek and hang out for a while take some photos and then convoy over to the 26 mile and vandyke buffalo wild wings. then get some dinner there and chat some more. how does this sound to everyone?

Hey, you can pop your hood when you get there and leave it open for all to see! I could have just as easily put the Thunderbird wings on the liner instead of the growling Cougar emblem. THAT would make it a Thundercougar! Plus your fuel rails have the Ford emblem on it, among other parts.......!!
