Dunno if I'm going, last year I parked my Limited Edition there, I would rather take the Mark VIII but it's limited to only Thunderbirds and my car is an eyesore with the peeling paint from the front driver's side bumper and the damage that the guy did to me when he crashed into my back bumper.

I'd like to give it a try, it's the same body style/frame as the 1989 to 1997 Thunderbirds.

More or less.

Definitely take the '63. That's a really nice car!

I wish I could make it. Detroit/Livonia is really nice this time of year.

Mods? Yea, I got mods ...
Air silencer delete, warp drive, dilithium crystals, flux capacitor, Slingshot Rubber band power adder, Moonshine & Gas, Leaf Blower Supercharger, Hamster Wheel & Hamster, Energizer Bunny generating 1.21 gigawatts, Mr. Fusion Home Energy Reactor, hover conversion and a sextant celestial navigation system (The original GPS)
Best 1/4: 1,320 nanoseconds @ 670,616,629.2 miles per hour

See a list of my real mods and pictures of my car HERE. The true performance of my car was made possible by the Carolinas Crew Chief, RobertP at Rob's Tire & Auto

I'll be stopping in at the show with my tbird but wont actually be part of it. Not sure if I can register there and I can't be stuck there either. There's a coin show at 9 and Telegraph that I have to make it to as well and it runs the same exact hours.

1996 T-bird, 4.6 with ported PI heads and VT stage 2 cams, JBA shorty headers, 3000 stall converter, 3.73 gears and just about every bolt on available.
Dyno tune results: 275.9rwhp and 301.4 torque.
Best 1/4 mile time: 13.65 at 99.52 mph.
Now I need more gear, more stall and some drag radials !!

Jon stayed all day, registered and Mike B was there too, a great show. Should have made this post sooner.

My bucket looked actually good there, they had an awesome setup where the generations all parked together. Made it nice to look at the same year next to you and see what was different.

Ya, its funny, Funny like a Clown.
