best/nearrest 1/4 mi track

I was just wondering where the best/nearest 1/4 mi track is to Farmington Hills, MI? Just got back from Summer Blast X and did not quite see the numbers I expected, but wanted to get some more track time in before SC Shootout if possible. Anyone up for a track day in the next couple of weeks?

Milan.. hands down. Lapeer is an option too, they have test and tune on Saturday. Its not as good of a track but you get lots of runs in.

Kevin,

How did your car run at Summer Blast? How hot was it down there?

The best I did was a 12.94 @ 106, but it seemed on par with what others were running. I am still hoping for low 12's/high 11's at the shootout.

I may try to get to Milan one Wednesday night before the shootout to see how she does in lower humidity and lower temps.

Do they have an open test and tune this weekend? I thought I saw on the schedule that their only test and tunes were on Wednesday night.

I think Vic's is a little more formal event. Open test and tune is Wednesdays.
