Woodward Dream Cruise

Last year, we had a poor showing @ the Dream Cruise, the biggest cruise in the midwest. We need to organize and put something together, even if it's only a ride through. I was out there tonight (i will be out there every night til next sunday) and the stangs were out in force, as usual. Only 4cam and myself were out. I know the cruise is officially the 20th, but everyone knows people are out alll week.
Seriously, we need to do at least one day this weekend....

By the way, I met 4 cam Bird in person... he's a cool guy. The bird is ridiculous! I like what he did...

I can make it out Friday. I wasn't planning on going saturday because of all the traffic. I hate being bumper to bumper with everybody.

I would go but 4 weekends in a row driving to michgan at 90 bucks each time in gas gets to be expensive. Look for some of the cars from my office here, there should be a black vette and infiniti and maybe a few other with easy fuel fill sytems, as in no gas cap. Those bastards aren't taking me.

I'm toying with the idea of going - if I do go on Saturday it'll be early and I'll be at Royal Oak Ford on Woodward Ave for most of the day. I know the Internet Coordinator there.

yesterday was cool. got to meet the NEW Detroit Thunderbirds. I must say that they are leaps and bounds ahead of the ones I met a few years ago, with their $300 beaters and bad attitudes.
Anyway, I'll be there again today, tonight and all day tomorrow and Sunday. I f you all are planning on going, we need to show up in force. 5 birds last night turned ALOT of heads. We can do more/better. If there are any tkers, call me @ 313.732.1609

I've been up there the last two nights, pretty ****ing crazy. Anyone else see the big *** fire on 11 mile half a block East of Woodward? I think we are just planning on rolling in the L tomorrow. 4 guys in the T-bird for long periods of time gets cramped. Throw a couple chairs in the back of the Lightning and its a little more comfortable. My last day of ownership of my car though. Its going back to Nebraska with one of my friends.

i was at the gas station of the fire there. don't know what happen but i need to pee that's why i stop there. pissed off because the attendants don't have the key for the restroom. she said someone took the key and never return them. there's a mustang at that station jacking up in the front fixing something.

the c6 corvette Z06 already selling to the public? saw 3 there. also the pontiac soltice?

I saw 5 different C6 Z-06's and I know at least one was a pubically licensed vehicle. I've been seeing Solsti driving around for a month. I think they are on sale to the public.

I also officially no longer have a T-bird, kind of weird.

saw 4 cam going northbound yesterday, that's it. It's funny, tccoa is the biggest, most recognized club in the country for mn12's, but the biggest cruise event in the country is held in our backyard, and no one shows. For the entire week. That's so funny. I've been out every day this week, and I'm out again today. There isn't even a handful of birds out there, it's more like one here, one there, etc. Tragic.

I wanted to go earlier saturday but I left around 8 to go out there and the cops kept making us turn off of Woodward. Than we got forced on to 696, got lost for a half hour.
I think the woodward dreamcruise is too commercialized anyway. The telegraph cruise was alot better there was more room for the older cars to drive and not over heat.
