Proof From D-12 Shot and Killed

Proof From D12 Shot and Killed
This is what I know so far…Deshaun Holton aka Proof from D12 was shot and killed at a Detroit after hours club at about 4am this morning. Initial reports say that another unidentified man was also killed, however police are now saying the second man is in extremely critical condition he is not dead as of yet...but Proof was definitely killed. The club where this took place is called Triple C and it happened at an illegal party in Detroit known as a blind pig. There were several witnesses who police are now talking to…but no other details have been made available. Only that police are on the scene and the incident is under investigation.

Sucks....

Heres a little more on what happened:

According to a spokesperson for the Detroit Police Department, evidence indicates Proof shot first and then suffered a gunshot wound to the head around 4:30 a.m. Tuesday; he was pronounced dead on arrival at St. John Holy Cross Hospital. A second victim, who has been identified as 35-year-old Detroit resident Keith Bender Jr., remains in critical condition at St. John Hospital and Medical Center. He also sustained a gunshot to the head.

You Live By The Gun You Die By The Gun.........

Sucks even worse that he supposedly started the gun fight, and lost....

Proof apparently punched a 35 yo man and knocked him down then shot him in the head, then a bouncer in the club, the victims friend shot Proof 4 times, 2 in the head and 2 in the chest.

How ironic....

I can already hear the dedication tracks and another "hit-em up" style song from Eminem.

Sucks though, he was actually a pretty good rapper.

Never heard of him.

I guess I'm old, I just don't get the rap community. I've never seen a Rapper smile in any publicity photo, they usually looked pissed. If I was making that much money hand over fist you couldn't knock the smile off of me.

Apparently rock stars die of drug overdoses, country stars drink themselves to death and rap stars get shot.

Regardless of my personal opinions of the Rap community, it is always sad to hear of a young person dying senselessly.

Dude was a personal friend of my family for several years, before d-12, before eminem and all of that and maybe it's a death that hits home because i grew up in that area, and have been to the bar several times with him, with my brother and friends of ours that made me respond. i've seen posts on other sites with people saying off the wall things, people who know of our families connection saying this and saying that, but coming to a place that i've called home that has taught me so much about both of my birds, which have become a major part of my life, makes me ****ing sick.
Respect the dead. Be quiet.

yeah dude, i understand that it hits closer to home and that he was a friend of yours but what about the other guy that he killed, i'm sure he had a family and maybe even some kids, you never know, and the fact of the matter is that he killed the other guy and then was killed himself, i'm sorry but i have a difficult time respecting a person that was killed shortly after shooting and killing another person in cold blood.

regardless of what went on, thou shalt not kill, simple as that, if he wouldn't have killed the other guy in the first place he would still be here, the only way i would condone any killing would be in a life and death self defense situation, just my .02

death is death, and im sorry p was being drunk and unruly and murdered a man, but my comments were directed specifically to the people who made ignorant comments, referencing Detroit, the man who died, etc. i'm sure i'll get quite a few furious little typers attacking my statement, me, Detroit, whatever. When that happens, remember, say it to my face. say something stupid to disrespect someone i've broken bread with, that my blood has broken bread with.

Facts:

We don't know the details and probably never will.

We're hearing that he punched and then shot to kill another partygoer.

He then got shot himself.

What do these facts tell us? He did a stupid thing and paid for it with his life. That in my book makes him an idiot . . . plain and simple.

I'm sorry your friend was stupid. I'm sorry he's dead. But the fact that you liked him does not in any way, shape or form detract from the stupid thing he did. You'll have to deal with that.

As for the breaking bread thing.....pulease.....I'm sure some of Jeffrey Dahmer's former friends liked him too. That did NOT make him not stupid.

The ONLY positive potential thing I can see coming from this utter display of stupity and lack of respect for your common man is that perhaps some younger kids will realize how dumb it is to carry a gun and especially to use it for anything other than pure defense. But more likely the rap community will all rally to his cause and ignore that he did something stupid that caused him to die.

God Bless and Fly Low!
