Where is the ignition module 96 3.8?

Ok my haynes manual says its on the right front fender apron, its not there.
Why do my 2, 96 3.8s have very diffent brake systems. Both non ABS. One has drum rears and one has rear disc. So did some of these cars get left over parts from like LTD`s or something?

96+ do not have a seperate ignition control module. It is integrated into the PCM.

As for the different brake systems, it was just the way the options were on the car. Standard was Front Disc/Rear Drum, optional was Front/Rear Disc, and ABS was the highest option with Front/Rear Disc as the only option.
