Manual Conversion

Has anyone done one on the MN12, and how hard would it be to do to it? And what would be the estimated price for it? Just want to see b/c it might be something I want to do in the future(you know when I have money )

Sorry, can't be done.

nah, JK here you go.

Cost will depend greatly on how you go about it.
If you bought all new parts and paid for the install it could run you as much as $10,000 or more.

Obviously if you do it yourself and buy used parts you might pull it off for a couple grand.

it should be pretty strait forward for a 3.8 car, you can pretty much use the exact parts including trans from a 5 speed sc and bolt them right up, you also will need to get the ecc tuned to turn off the trans functions

Yeah, I didn't even notice you were running a 3.8L V6.
Don't bother, buy a 5 speed SC and be done with it.
It will be cheaper and you will get all the other bonuses that come with the SC's.
Supercharged motor, Body kit, Automatic Ride Control, Traction lock rear, ABS, Sport springs etc, etc.....

Only reason to consider a MN12 Tranny swap is if you want to have a V8 platform to build on.

Or if you just want a 5-speed trans in a good handling car.

Heck, he can do whatever he wants but seriously why bother?

For all the trouble and money he could just buy an SC if he wants a V6 and it would be a much better car.
