well my buddie got the 93 3.8 thought it was the head gasket upon the tear down it wasnt the gasket it was a lifter than fell apart and the rocker arm came off partially so now all is back together and when you rev it up the rpms take a dive and it struggles to stay running and it seems its lacking all power and it idles at 1200 in park could this be another vacuum leak any help is great

That definitely sounds like a vacuum leak. Have you checked for vacuum leaks with carb cleaner (or something similar)?

no i have not enlighten me about the carb cleaner trick this is my buddies car im about to jump into the t-bird ring again around tax time im lookin for a s'c

You spray carb cleaner on an area (like a gasket surface, vacuum line, or fitting) and watch the engine. If the idle at all changes as a result of spraying, there is a vacuum leak at or near the area you just sprayed.
