alternator tensioner, trying to replace alternator
hey guys quick question, on ever other car, there has been a spring loaded tensioner, it appears to be just to the left of the alternator if your looking ahead into the engine bay, usually you can just put a ratchet on them and act like your tightening and the whole things rotates and lifts off the belt, but this one isnt like this.
my friend is saying just pop the whole tensioner off but im trying to tell him thats a bad idea because it will be horrible to get back on.
i know this is easy and im trying not to over complicate, how do i go about getting this alt off. which bolt do i use to relieve stress on the bolt and what do i do with it
