3.8 Alt.

K, im looking for a replacement altenator for my 93 3.8 LX. I know I can install a 94 alt but have to make a braket and change the pigtail connectors, I was wondering if anyone knows of a direct replacement out tehre somewhere that has more than a POS 75Amp output?

You'll have to convert to the 3g. That is the only way. Making the harness is very simple, you run a main positive wire to the battery, one wire from the new harness plugs right back in to the alternator (white), one wire goes to ignition (green), and the last one...I don't remember hah. I would have to go look. Do a google search, there are tons of websites with instructions. Also, you'll need to make an extension bracket, or cut out the accessory bracket a little bit. The 3g is larger and interferes.
