Codes & Questions

My CEL light i on and going by receipts and things that came with the car its throwing these codes:
p0136
p0156
p0172
p0175

On the reapir report its marked that its caused by either and EGR malfunction or a vacuum leak, When the EGR malfunctions on these cars is it usually dead or just dirty?

Neither. Usually it's a bad DPFE sensor.

Joe

It's not a 97 Sport, it just looks like one!

Looks like you have bad O2 sensors.

P0136 O2 Sensor Circuit Malfunction (Bank 1 Sensor 2)

P0156 O2 Sensor Circuit Malfunction (Bank 2 Sensor 2)

P0172 System too Rich (Bank 1)

P0175 System too Rich (Bank 2)

You can check here also to see what the codes are.

A bad DPFE will throw an EGR code.
