knocking noise when driving.

hey guys love the site. i have a 1995 ford thunderbird 3.8l lx.. everytime i drive i hear a knocking noise..it sounds like its coming from the front of the car like maybe coming from the wheel well where the tire is or something in the engine..its very annoying.. i donty know if its a hazrd but its been happening forever..any one know anything?? please answer thanx.

check your brake calipers and discs.. my 93 SC did the same and it was the discs rattling around on the hub.. i had to use a sleeve on the hubs to heep them from rattling..

Front end is tired.

Sway bar endlinks, upper control arms, lower control arms, strut rod bushings, etc...... pick your problem. You must get under there and look.

for me it was the sway bar end links making the noise. Got TRW brand from advance auto parts for about 42 bucks a side quick and easy to replace.
