Epic MPGs

I went down to Modesto CA from Davis CA to an an auto wrecker and came back on 5.5 gallons of gas. I had traveled a total of 208 miles on 5.5 gallons of gas, equating to 37.81MPG from my 3.8L V6 at 60MPH in my 1989 'bird. This is without cruise control too.

This is amazing considering I have been getting 18-21MPG in town.

I love this car.

I can believe it, considering I managed 30 MPG a couple times on a 240 mile trip (mixed 60 MPH, 70 MPH, 40 MPH) with the V8.

Lately my highway MPG has been closer to 24-26.

I have gotten 32MPG in my 2004 Mustang GT with the 4.6L at 60MPH.
