Difference in O2 sensors

Well you learn something new every day.

Putting my '90 Bird back on the road with its original 3.8, picked up the ECM, MAF, and wiring harnesses from a '91 car to do a MAF conversion in the process (my '90 harnesses were gone). Though I had it all ready to go and lo-and-behold, the O2 sensors are different.

Aside from the plug, what's the difference between the pre- and post-'91 O2 sensors? (On the plus side, O2s be damned, I got the ol' girl fired after five years sitting dormant.)
