Just put my 3.8L N/A Lemons car on some borrowed corner scales

With an M5R2 transmission swap, full cage, fully gutted interior (skinned doors, spare tire well removed/covered, and tar all scraped up, wire loom minimized, etc), and full tank of gas, our tbird now weighs a mere 3000Lbs.

That's pretty awesome considering I last weighed the car at 3500Lbs.
It appears we have more weight on the left of the car than the right (even without a driver). This likely explains the extra wear on the left vs. right tires.

I plan to relocate my battery to the area where the passenger seat used to be to help with this left/right balance but i thought I should share these details.

Tomorrow's race is going on rain or shine. Looking at the reports though, it looks more like rain (the weather report stated up to 2" of rain for the area). I suspect we'll be taking corners like slidebird a few times -- but not intentionally

My TCCOA iTrader Rating: (44 / 100% w/ 50+ transactions)
