fuel rail repair

So I fired up my engine for the first time tonight and had fuel spraying out of the hoses on the fuel rail. Is there any way of repairing these connections?

Yes, you can cut off the stock hoses and replace them with J30R9 fuel injector hose. It's sold by the foot at your local auto parts store. Don't go for J30R7 FI hose even if it's cheaper b/c of the PSI rating. It's meant for carburated applications. Also, use multiple hose clamps at each connection just to be safe.

You can test for leaks with the manifold off by turning on the ignition and checking for leaks.
I did something similar when I built my splitport fuel rails.

Thanks Gunn, I'll be hitting the parts store after church.

Please pay close attention to how you need to remove the old hose without nicking the barbs underneath. There are two URLs describing the process.
In the unlikely event that you do nick a barb and it leaks, LMK. I should have an extra singleport fuel rails you can just swap over.
