Should I be able to...

hear my fuel pump engage when I turn the key on? I cannot hear my pump even a little bit. Total silence.

I thought perhaps I needed to hit the pump the reset button. But when I checked it, the button was not raised. I went ahead and pushed it down, but heard nothing, and, still not a sound from the pump. I am thinking more and more that the pump is the real culprit.

Yep, for a couple seconds. You'll hear the a couple relays in the CCRM trip and the pump engage.

Check to see if you're getting any voltage commanded on the fuel pump circuit out of the CCRM as the key is turned on. Be sure no fuses are blown too.

Can you tell me where exactly that CCRM is so that I can check the voltage? Is that the thing on the passenger side behind the headlight? Wonder where I can find a pic of that? All my fuses seem to be fine.

Thanks!

Yep. It'll look very similar to this (this one is for a '94+).
