gauge cluster

Can anyone tell me if the gauge cluster with a tach will work in a 1990 base model t-bird? My odometer don't work and I'm wanting to replace the whole cluster with one of them that has a tach

You'll have to rewire the connectors - the connectors are wired different between the four gauges available that year, not to mention in year ranges.

However - before you even THOUGHT about that - I'd HIGHLY, HIGHLY, HIGHLY recommend picking up an EVTM (from eBay or Helm Inc.) and checking that out.

As for tach - if you add the wiring, and change the connector, it SHOULD work if it's like the 1991, where it's off the coil for the 3.8NA and 5.0HO (off the DIS, but the same basic signal, for the 3.8SC).

All-Data is good, I have All-Data also. I ALSO have the EVTM - because, as I modify my car, I can make notes in the EVTM as to what I did, unlike AllDataDIY.COM ... *grins*
