where can I get a 3.8 shortblock?

I have a 94 Cougar XR-7 with a 3.8 that's knocking at about 1500 rpm. I want to replace the shortblock. Where can I get a new or rebuilt shortblock and how do they usaully sell for? Thanks guys!

Your local Ford dealer, www.car-parts.com and http://www.jasperengines.com/products.html are some options.

Advance Auto Parts sells reman engines too, I think.
