Flex's 60mm TB does NOT work

I purchased a 60mm TB from Flex back in May when I was doing my engine rebuild. It doesnt even open more than a 1/4 of a way due to an improper fit concerning the throttle cable. We even had to grind the tranny cable nub a bit to get it to work. If you have a 95 or later vehicle, it wont work. On Thomas's 94, it seemed to work okay. I think Thomas is pretty satisfied with his experience too. Apparently, they changed the TB style a bit between 94-95. I went ahead and sent him my old TB so he could figure out the proper adapter. Ive been pretty understanding in that very oversight, but Ive been trying to get an adapter from Flex since Aug. Even 2 weeks ago, i got a pm saying he'd send it out that weds.

Personally, I like Flexx (branko) even though he's canadian. lol Ive had a few conversations with him and found his advice helpful, his participation in these boards missed, and his love for his MN12 true.

But only after so long can you not just stop and say hey...im gettin screwed over here. And now im out of my TB that worked! Some may say this is flaming, some may think as I do and just see that its a word of caution. Ive sent so many pm's to Flexx, that the situation doesnt seem to want to be addressed anymore, for I havent heard from him since Oct. 13.

Wow, that's too bad. I've seen so many positive claims about the spacers over at V6Power. I hope you and Flex can work it out.

It's not a 97 Sport, it just looks like one!

Actually I've got a 93 the cables changed with the new transmission in 94. Sorry to hear about misfortunes man.

I've delt with and talked to Flex and I agreee that he is a knowledgable guy with some outstanding products. But he does get a little slow when it comes to producing/sedning the products to people.

Is there anyway you could get a 94-95 TB cable bracket and adapt it to yours? If you don't have one I could look in the local junkyards for one and either mail it or bring it over to ya. I've been wanting to see your car anyway lol. The local junkyard has about 4 or 6 94+ 3.8's so there's bound to be a TB in there somewhere. Let me know if you're interested.

Branko also seems to have a lot of bad luck with health. I wonder if he's sick again. Anyone heard from him lately? He used to post here pretty often and I havn't seen him post for a few months now.

Oh yeah I just remembered something. One of the Iowa guys adapted a 60mm throttle body without an adapter plate and he made his own bracket. He has a 94 with the same cables as you. His name on here is lx2sc you might want to PM him and ask him how he did it.

Jesus Christ don't tell me you just got that damn thing. I sent the second one months ago. Rob, if you just got the adapter let me know. I thought you already had it from an email you sent me awhile back.

If this is just an update, how did you make out with the stang?
