mustang question

I know the engine on the mustang is essentially the same (3.8) what are the differences? The only thing i see is the intake tube itself. What about motor mounts and the ignition coil? Are the ECU's the same? Is the wiring the same on the ECUs?

Im looking at transplanting my engine to a mustang and come up with some questions. Like can i still use the same performance chip or do i have to swap ECUs? And of course are they wired the same?

My buddy's 94 3.8 has the different intake, DIS, and for some reason, his intake is not painted black. It's metal with the letters painted black.
