4.2L engine pricing
I've got a buddy with a 97 F-150 with the 4.2 and it sounds like its spun a rod bearing again. I know several of you have looked into the 4.2 swap, where is a good place to get a new or low mileage motor for a swap? And whats a good price?

Junk yards seem too expensive, best I found was 750$ for a complete 4.2L with ~60,000 miles on it. I missed one on Ebay that was close to me for 289$ that had ~100,000 on it.

I got my 4.2 motor from a boneyard in Cumming, GA. I paid just shy of $500 for it. It only had 36,000 miles on it.
