Unhappy Starting

I have replaced the altenator and had the batt. tested and the both have tested ok, but the car does not seem to hold a charge. should i have the alt and bat tested again from someplace else, or is there other charging parts that i need to test.

does the battery only die when the car is sitting (not running) for a time?

If that is the case, the battery and alternator could both be perfectly good and the problem is a short or drain in the system somewhere.

not sure how to trouble shoot it, except to pull the fuses for suspected circuits, let it sit, and see if you can narrow it down.
