vacuum hose routing problem

Okay HERE's the problem. This red hose (yeah the one with the screw in it), is coming off of the EVR and is suppose to go SOMEWHERE in the main vac tree. But the question is... where? I don't know if the PCV is suppose to have two lines coming out of it but mine does. one runs back along the firewall and the other goes down the inner wheel well to.... well I'm not real sure. Then the tree, which I'm assuming is the first line coming off of the PCV, has tube coming from the back of the intake into it. Thanks again.

Oh my bad, I just emailed you telling you where I think it goes to not comes from. I deleted my EGR and didn't really pay attention to where I detached it from. But I e-mailed a few guys who'll know.

Ok, I got spontaneous and went out and looked in the 0* weather

It connects to the main vac tree behind the manifold, it's tucked up in the cowl there against the firewall. You see where the big rubber hose goes from the upper manifold back to the firewall? Follow that hose to the source and that is the tree it connects to, and the one mine plugs into is the spot right above that rubber hose. Let me know if this helps you out.

Okay I think I got this one. My PCV has two barrels coming off of it and it shouldn't. One was for the vacuum tree, and the other one lead to the carbon canister. Leaving a hole open in the vacuum tree. I heard the whistling and though I had fixed it by installing a black tube going from the open hole into an open hole in the back of the manifold. In fact what should have happened was, there should only be one barrel for the PCV valve and the carbon canister should plug into the vacuum tree. And the red hose should plug into the back of the intake.
