4.2l Swap questions?

I was reading the article on the 4.2l swap and I was wondering how many people have done this swap and how hard is it.
Also about how much does it cost after getting the engine and other parts and about how much time should it take?
And one more thing I have a 92 Tbird with an automatic transmission and I was wondering if the 4.2 will bolt up to it.

PJ's the only one who has done the entire 4.2L swap from an f-150 to the bird. If you're swapping in the entire engine like PJ did then you're transmission will bolt up fine but it isn't designed to hold the power the 4.2 will put out. Same with the rear differential and half shafts.
