you'll need a dremel tool or dye grinder and various grinding bits. Just mark the intake ports with a gasket and scribe (gasket matching) and then grind it out, don't grind too much inside or the walls will be too thin. It's also impossible to get the full affect of porting the upper without cutting it open and welding it back together, but you need special tools to do so and some decent experience in welding aluminum.
