HG break in?

well, i've ditched the idea of getting a rebuilt, so i'm just gonna change the hg's and have the heads planed. but i was wonderin, when theyre changed is there any special proceedure to break them in? or like do i have to take it easy for a bit after theyre replaced?


01- mustang cobra- lazer red -bbk o/r x pipe w/ 40 series, JLT, waiting to install 4.10's
04 ram- ya, its a hemi- [email protected] -sold!!
92 tbird sc- sold!!!- almost made it to the 60ft mark

oh, you'll want to wait about 5 hours after installing the lower intake manifold because the silicone sealant needs time to set up and cure a little.

hmmm, yea forgot about that. puttin the lower intake on is a pain in the rear. friend of mine was puttin his on his 3.8 n/a, he had to take it on and off a couple times cuz of stupid things he was doin, nd he ended up warping one of the bolt holes and the intake was ruined
