how to change analog dashboard into a digital dashboard?

Hi guys.
My car is 1991 base model with analog dash.
Does anyone know if it's possible to change analog dashboard into a digital dash?
I was told it is not an easy task.
If someone's done it I would welcome any advise.

your better off going to a 6 gauge analog than going to electronic , the electronic still stops at 85 mph as where the 6 gauage goes to 120 , you wouldnt have to rewire the whole dsh , just move a couple wires and add a few too .

just a quick note, if the digital dash is the same as the 1993, i promise you that it doesn't
stop until much higher than 85.

you have to check to make sure that your ecm is compatible with the digital dash.
it may be alot of wiring but it can be done. it's all clearly detailed in the evtm.
