installin etc fan need some help

hey i am goin to take out the old stock fan i was wonder how hard could this be. i got etc fan for $20 from my friend and i was wonder what eles i would need to get this done and will i be able to feel any dif in the car afters thanks guys

ack, thats hard to read. you got an electric fan, im guessing? what car is it out of? is all the wiring included with it? you need to wire it up to a power source, perhaps the battery. you may need to upgrade your alternator. the stock fan is attached to the water pump pulley by four bolts. undo these bolts, then undo the two bolts holding the fan shroud down, and pull up on both. reinstall the pulley bolts.

do a search for more info on installing the fan.

thanks and i got 2 eletrice fans i wondering if i could put both of them on there or will it be kool just to put one on there and bolting it on like bolting the fan to what

like i said, what car did the fan come out of? be specific. you need to wire up an electric fan for it to work.

not sure what they came out of he had them sitting in his room so i got them most like a import car maybe a gst eclipes . how do i bolt them on or it on

im not familiar with an eclipse's cooling system, so that fan may be too small. keep your eyes open for an e-fan out of a tbird or cougar. that is what you want. check the for sale forum for them.

i would recommend not putting that eclipse fan cause they are small...instead get rid of it and get a mark viii fan and a 130 amp alternator then do the swap, if you need help let me know, i've done this swap...

I recommend spell check and a little more thought in your posts.

You can also pick up an aftermarket electric fan for 30-40 bucks through summit or a local parts store. The more cmf the better...just make sure the dimensions are correct. There are wiring kits you can purchase, from here its pretty much a plug and play.

Good luck.

Taurus 3.8L E-fan is the way to go, moves ~3800cfm (only 500cfm less than the Mark VIII fan). Though spendy I recommend this fan controller kit, no need for a bigger alternator with this kit. http://www.dccontrol.com I've got the FK-35 kit on my F-150 with a Taurus fan and it has yet to draw over 5amps of juice as the fan has not had to spin over 25% yet to keep my truck cool.

If you want to know what difference an electric fan will make, take off the mechanical fan and drive it around. As long as you don't go to far or sit in traffic you will be OK. I have done this and you can tell the difference, although it is slight.
