Loud air sucking/blowing noise, no power at all

It started a few days ago... shes running odd. No power at all... I press the gas and it will take over 20 seconds just for her to shift out of first (at WOT). Shes also making some sort of loud air sucking or blowing sound. There is a slight exhaust leak coming from the drivers side header.

She blew her headgaskets last year, and I just fixed her a few weeks ago.

The vacuum is known good, there are no leaks. Tested this with a can of starting fluid. Timing is spot on, at 10 btdc. Ignition is good, as all components are new.

Im lost. =[

well Id start out by finding the leak and go from there. Thats the #1 clue you have right now, so go with it.

Well, Id like to build up some theories to try out the whole time Im out there, seeing as how the temperature has dropped lower than panties do on prom night.

Im positive as to the location of the leak, its at the exhaust manifold on the drivers side.

Are you sure all the plugs are in ( I know it sounds stupid but I did in it once on a ranger that takes 8plugs).
Do a compression check or turn the crank with the valve covers off (could have a valve stuck open; had this happen on my dad's 300 F150 valve stem got some dirt on it and stuck open)looking at rockers.

If all else fails get a bigger hammer!

fixed it. Was a combination of the vacuum hose going to the egr sensor being burnt and toasty and the timing being off by about 10 degrees. frankly, im surprised she even ran.
