I had just picked up my stepson from school and was 6 or 7 blocks from my house. I was stopped at a light, and I noticed that the car behind me was real close to my a**. I sat up and looked at the car through the rear view mirror, and it was a white 93 thunderbird.
So I actually saw this guy inching closer to me and was maybe 6 inches away from hitting me, so I made an obvious "WTF" to him. The light turned green, so I deliberatly went about 10 mph for half the block. (Mind you this is a pretty busy street at the top of rush hour..) This dude gets pissed LOL and guns it around me to the right. Dirty little bird, saggin in the back, filthy windows.
As it passed, I noticed that I knew this dude. He lives about two buildings away from me, I see his car parked in the same spot every day, with his telephone # in the window. A 3.8. So I now have to follow this dude the rest of the way to our neighborhood! (I have never spoken to him or even seen him, just the car.) I remembered I had to go to the supermarket, so I continue on. My stepson meanwhile is saying to me "that thunderbird is beating you", and I am a little disturbed, but he's gunning it, and I am watching him get farther away down the street.
Don't you know this dude ends up going to the same supermarket? [email protected]
The guy ends up parking on the other side of the parking lot, and it's over.
I was really going to say something to him if I didn't have to go out of my way to do so.
There's a ton of TBirds and Cougars here in the San Fernando Valley. Most of them don't seem to take any pride in their cars, they are just good ol' daily drivers. I have seen some nice ones as well, most likely some of you posting on here. Hope to pick up my 4.6 this or next weekend, nice stock Limited 97 w/ sport package, 100,000 miles. I would be honored to have a 6 & 8.
