rough idle

my 94 bird idles rough and i dont know why.
i have cleaned my maf, and all of my connecter things
i dont know what else to do

anyone have any ideas why??

Question

Check the obvious first....plugs, wires, distributor cap then take it from there.

how would i know if the distributor cap is bad???

Take a look at the contacts inside and check for cracks also. How many miles are on it? If there's a lot, it wouldn't be a bad idea to change it anyway.

i agree with the other guy.......replace plugs, wires, cap, rotor dont have a check engine do ya?

how hard would it be to replace the distributor cap??

Easy thing to do... wires are easy too, just remove one at a time. Plugs are straightforward but the three on the passenger side are a pia if you have big hands.
