I got a problem that I need help with. I just changed the cap and rotor on the car and now its idling funny. There's also a noticable noise coming from under the cap. I thought that maybe the rotor wasn't seated all the way so I took the cap off, reseated the rotor and put it all back together. The noise is still there and it just does not sound right. The old rotor was stuck on the shaft so it took a bit a force to get off. Could I have screwed up the distributor while I fought to get the rotor off? Any help would be appreciated. Thanx.

sounds like you need to tap that thing on harder or you have a wrong rotor look for anything hitting under there
