Stalling when Cold

Like the title says, my cougar stalls when its cold, usually about 2-3 minutes after i start it. somedays i get lucky and can make it to the main road through town before i stall. this is with a full tank, half a tank, and pretty much empty as well. any help is appreciated, i was thinking fuel filter?

My cougar was doing the same thing. I finally fixed it when I replaced the maf sensor. Cleaning the maf didn't work, I had to get a new one. Hope this helps.
