Unhappy Need a little help.

Need a little help I have a 94 XR7 with a 3.8, ok here's the problem i'am getting a code 157 which i understand is a mas sensor. I have pulled the mas out and cleaned it no broken wires all is good there. So why i'am i still getting a code? Can you check it to see if it works? If so how do you do that? Any pictures oftesting a mas? Or diagram on it. Any help would be great.

I don't know of a test for them. I would say to order a new one and swope it. It's solid state so there is really nothing to test. You could call ford and talk to a tech for any procedure they may have?

Unplug the battery for ten minutes or remove the ECM fuse and crank the engine a few times then try it. Any codes you had should be cleared.

Just a suggestion, but I would post in the IL chapter and see if someone close has a MAS you can borrow and test with.

2.25" true duals, no cats, Borla XS mufflers.
96 trans with 300HP + gear change J-mod, Mark VIII TC, & Hayden 30K GVW cooler.
Solid Rubber engine and tranny mounts. Polly front-end, tranny crossmember, and IRS bushings.
