3.8 studders and hesitates

My 93 3.8 v6 has been hesitating lately and i don't know why. If I step on the gas even moderately, the engine starts to take off then chugs then immediately takes off. If i walk the throttle up it does just fine, but no power if i give it any gas. Any ideas?

first thing would be to clean the maf, and check any engine codes if the check engine light is on. Then I would try cleaning your IAC motor, could be that it's not closing fast enough when you hit the throttle.
