question after headgasket replacement

So I replaced a headgasket this weekend. Car runs million times better no more skipping and stuff. How long before it stops blowing steam out the exaughst?

Did you change the oil? There should be no white smoke once you replaced the leaking gasket.

drained the oil and put new stuff in. could the cats be saturated with coolent?

its possible the cats could be clogged. i opted for the high flow set. should have changed both gaskets at the same time.
