93 , 3.8 throddle body?????????

does anyone know if there is another throddle body other than stock for the n/a 3.8 for 93? I was looking at the bbk 1548 for the 94 mustang and wondering if that will work ? thanks

Iam pretty sure the one for the mustang should bolt right up. The only difference might be the linkage. You can also get a 5.0L throttle body to work with some machining work. Ask Thomas about this, he does this sort of thing. The 56mm TB that you want will give you little performance gain on a stock motor. For the price of one of those you can get a lot more performance by doing other things while saving you money. If you do some intake work then I would say it would be worth it.

yeah, if you dont do any intake work its a waste of money. just wait till you at least port the upper intake manifold.

If you have stock intakes, I wouldnt upgrade your throttle body just yet. If you plan on doing it step-by-step then that would make sense though. But I would spring for the intakes before the throttle body.

I can do a 60mm throttle body for a lot less than that overpriced 56mm BBK.

I'll vouch for Thomas' work.

The Parts Bin Special is DEAD! It is being parted out.
