hose problem

The upper radiator hose keeps coming loose. I have to move it back down onto the engine inlet and retighten it all the time. It keeps trying to move off, and there is a hose clamp on it. What can I do to stop it from coming loose ever again. I'm tired of replacing the coolent monthly

I agree with 187bird. Get one of those Ideal brand clamps that use a screw to tighten the clamp.

The Parts Bin Special is DEAD! It is being parted out.

yeah, those work wonders. is this a new hose you put on? they may have sold you the wrong one then (ex. if it's too short it will come off). but yeah those clamps that have the screws are the best. probably cost you a couple bucks at oreillys
