rough idle

i have a rough idle at very low rpm, the car vibrates if i have my foot on the pedal very lightly, enough to only go 10 mph, but during normal driving its fine.. but once i take my foot off the pedal an the engine slows down, it vibrates again an then it stops vibrating once idle, whats wrong?

Start with the basics

I would first check the basics: your spark plugs/wires, rotor, air filter, fuel filter, clean your MAF, and check your IAC. Also check and make sure you do not have any vacumn leaks. I could be wrong, but from what you have said it sounds a lot like your IAC, or even a vacumn leak.

Are there any check engine lights or codes thrown?

I am sure there are also other people here who have other ideas as well. Just my 2 cents! Good luck!

I just replaced my headgasket and it was still missing. only at idle so i went to Auto Zone and asked for a EEC test. The code was 121 i believe. Wich means TPS throttle positioning sensor. when the engine high miles it burns the contact at the most used throttle position. Highway milaged cars shake at highway speeds.
