Water POURING out tail pipe

What happened?!?!

Water totally drains out of the radiator and ends up coming out the tailpipe...

Head gasket? Intake manifold?!?!

Help!!

3.8L

Let me know what you guys think...TIA

Head gasket would be my first thought.

yea or cracked head

93 LX: 89 SC rear sway, Tokico drop kit, JBA headers,ported and polished Edle Brock intake,ported e7's, E303 cam, Cold air intake,75mm TB,03 Lmaf, TwEECed T4M0, smog pump & ac delete, under drive pulleys, msd 6a, 1.7 ratio roller rockers, electric fan, 3.27 trac lok, 5spd, aluminum drive shaft, digital cluster converted to analog and it works!

Or both. Most likely head gasket though. Either way the heads have to come off and get checked out by a machine shop.

With the 3.8 head gaskets are the obvious fist choice answer but until you pull the heads you won't know if it only needs a head job or what...

yes head gaskets.....i had the same problem, coolant pouring out of dr. side pipe (true duals)........ but both sides head gaskets were toast........get your heads resurfaced, don't just replace gaskets, and also replace the head bolts.

K&N Intake and Flowmaster Exhaust
1995 Lincoln Mark VIII
hollow front cats, 3rd cat still there, no resonator, replaced by a single 40 series flowmaster, 2 3"x18" tips out back. screamin demon coil packs, mallory pro wires, motorcraft platinum plugs. intake resonator delete.

my guess would be it was so bad it cracked the head(s). most of the time the water burns off giving the white smoke effect, not spewing out the tailpipe.

i had all the above (shooting coolant and white smoke) no cracks in heads but i put the brand new heads on (less than 5,000 from the previous motor, motor had lower end problems and the owners before replaced the whole upper half). got lucky on that
