Shift Kit Question

ok i have a 1994 3.8L N/A Thunderbird what would be the best shift kit for my car i believe i have aode transmission and please tell me where i can get the produst any help would be greatly appreciated thanks

Well, I haven't been here in a hundred years, but the best shift kit used to be the Jerry modification. I don't know if the instructions to do this are still posted on this site or not. Most of the aftermarket kits do not address the needs of the transmission very well. By the way you have a 4R70W transmission. A slight variant of the AODE.

Yes, the article is still here and still very valid. Here is a link to the Trans tech articles. Start at the beginning. The J-Mod replaces and exceeds any shift kit that you are thinking of.
