Double the headgasket problem??

I was wondering if anyone who has had their headgasket fixed had it blow a second time??

I haven't personally, but some people here have

That's why it's so important to have an auto machine shop pressure test and plane the heads after a head gasket lets go. Aluminum heads warp easily if the car has been overheated, which leads to a head gakset failure down the road. If you're too cheap to send the heads out, don't be surprised if you're replacing them again in another 30-50K. Also, new head bolts and premium gaskets help the situation as well.

New head bolts are not optional... If you reuse them you'll be replacing the gaskets again for sure.
