Head gasket question?

i am in the process of replacing head gaskets on my 94 thunderbird 3.8. I bought a gasket set but the head gaskets are not labled which way they go on the block. there is no front marked on the gaskets. which way do they go on? thanks, keith

Those pictures don't load, did you buy FelPro gaskets?

no, they are McCords. the picture was just the gasket.

Dosn't matter. I would put the flatter side to the block though just cause I'm anal that way...

no, i am talking about the left and right sides. one side has the two holes for coolant and the other side doesn't. do the holes go to the front or the back of the block? the gaskets are not labled.

The side with no holes points to the front of the engine, this goes for both sides meaning one HG might seem upside-down (at least for FelPro one of mine was).
