94 3.8 swap to 03 3.8

I was wondering if this swap was possible. I know i'd have to make some modifications, but would it be worth it. Remember, i'm on a tight budget.

yes VERY possible.
If you got a DIS ignition then its even easier (distributor make it harder)
1)Custom Fuel Rail
2)Custom intake Tube
3)Custom EGR exhaust tube
4)lengthing Wires to fit different placement of sensors and stuff.

Fuel Rail and intake tube

What specifically has to be done to the fuel rail and intake tube I know you have to custom fit the fuel rail because of the returnless fuel system and then intake tube needs to be lengthened but how and that needs to be done to both?

Intake tube wouldn't be so bad, you could use a 3" diameter Drier hose till someone comes up with a metal one. There is a Guy on V6power.net that modifys the fule rails for 250$. OR you could be like PJ and use the 4.2L truck upper intake, the Truck Fuelrail, and install a Cowl hood with a like notch in the hood.

if your going to put in a 3.8 you might as well put in the 4.2, it's got a bigger stroke to put it from 3.8 upto 4.2. and you could use your own intakes and heads so that it would fit under the hood and you would hardly need to modify anything because the wiring will be almost identical, except the fuel rails and engine mounts and mustang oil pan.
