4.6 '94 Thunderbird tranny help, please

So my OD light was flashing wich means it tossed a code, I don't know where to read it at.

but my main question is. My car will go into reverse perfectly fine, however when i put it in drive it wont move at all unless I redline it for a few seconds (i was in a busy street and had to get off the road fast that's how i know that) then it will gently go into gear and go fine until i slow down or make a turn. The fluid levels are fine, there is a small leak but a Gasket should take care of that.

I'm just hoping i don't need a new tranny becuase i have NO money i can barely afford that gas for a car . so does anyone have any ideas or suggestions?

I appreciate any help and/or replies.

yeah I hate to be the bearer of bad news but your clutches in that tranny are good and shot now. If its revin to red line and not going anywhere its slipping like a *****. You're going to need a new transmission. I'd get on here and talk to Darrin or DirtyDog for a transmission. Sorry man. It happens to all of us at some point.
