4R70W Info needed.

I am putting Auto Meter Old Tyme gauges in my 1948 F-1 and need to know the pulse range on the 1995 T-bird speedometer sending unit. Auto Meter said their speedometer needs 16 pulses per revolution. Any help greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I would suggest contacting Dalls Mustangs they produce the speedcals I'm sure they know the specifications and if they are incorrect can help you get the calibration.

I did get an e-mail from Auto Meter saying that the speedometer will work with the sending unit. The person at Summit I ordered the gauge set from told me it would not work unless I ordered their sending unit fof about $80.00. I guess money doesn't matter if you are spending someone else's. Thanks for your help. Larry S.
