2-3rd gear slide bump shift

Would a bad 2-3rd accum piston or spring cause a slide bump type shift from 2-3rd? Do I Have to remove the valve body to change it? Also what would happen if my VB screws were not torqued correctly? I losened them than tighten them before I installed my tranny.

DEFINITELEY have to pull VB to get to 2-3 Accum & delete Spring - Per Manual improperly Torqued VB Gaskets (about $8 for all 3 new Gaskets) will cause any number of really, REALLY BAD things to happen w/Tranny function - Get a proper Manual & be VERY careful under there~!

GET OFF MY LAWN~! ... & Let's not forget guys... There's still a dead Imaginary Ex-Girlfriend out there...
