95 tbird tranny

I recently cleaned out the egr ports on the intake manifold, before I took everything apart the tranny shifted fine but now that everything is put back together, the tranny won't shift into gears unless I manually shift them, I have a different tps on the car but it's not plugged in cause I need to get a new pigtail, was just wondering why my car is doin this or atleast what to look for, thanks

The fact that you have the TPS unplugged is probably your problem.

A bad TPS would cause this as well.
